Can I use a hot stone for my bearded dragon?

I know it can burn if kept long, but what if I cover it with sand. then it well?

I recommend staying away from hot rocks no matter what. There is still a possibility of getting burned by the heat of the rock, even if sand is covering it. Imagine when you're on the beach, and you are walking in the sand when it comes to a hot day. the sand feels warm, right?
